The Vanguard features a unique hollow hilt design with cutout windows near the emitter, allowing the blade's light to shine through the hilt body for a striking visual effect. When ignited, the emitter windows glow in sync with the blade color, creating a distinctive illuminated appearance.

The hilt is machined from aluminum with a bright polished silver finish, accented by matte black rings and grip inlays. The grip section features recessed channels and subtle grooves for secure handling during swings and spins.

The LED system supports a full spectrum of colors. The hollow emitter windows glow with the same color as the main blade, creating a unified lighting effect. Multiple sound fonts are included, each with distinct ignition, hum, and clash effects.
